The Cyber Cross game watch came out in 1995,amid the watch fads of TV remote controls and complicated scientific calculators being included as watch  functions.

These types of watches were appx. Y11500, quite inexpensive for the functions they offered. Remember Superfami Carts routinely went over Y12000  or $120 (1995). Now game makers would be hard pressed to sell a game for so much in recession stricken Japan.

The Cyber Cross offered a RPG like game, that built up stats for transmission to a pal (Battle). The IR capability was the key point, for solo play was  just that, solo. Battles would result in improved stats (Or death).The cool thing about this watch or the TV watches, was that they had near universal compatability, so you could easily wreak havok in an  store or home that had a TV or VCR! To be sought after for sure, the Cyber Cross is the ultimate wrist worn accessory for the RPG Otaku.
